In 1975 the Falco family took over one of the Ischitella ovens located in the “Croci” district in the upper part of the town; many years of work in which Angela and Donato have specialized in bread, traditional “panini”, “cavicione” Ischitellano, apulian focaccia, “skannetedde”, “crustoli” and much more, becoming a reference point for the neighborhood, especially in certain periods of the year where many people went to the “Forno di Donato Langaron” to bake bread or the typical cavicione.
After this experience, in 1994, the Belvedere restaurant was born, managed in the kitchen by Angela, famous for its artisanal preparations: fresh homemade orecchiette, cavicione, taralli and typical desserts.
In 2001 the B&B Belvedere was born, the first Bed & Breakfast in Ischitella and from there, all our passion for cooking, moved to hospitality and breakfasts with the preparation of desserts for our special buffets breakfast.
Since 2018 I (Michele) and Francesca welcoming tourists to our B&B, trying to mix the Gargano tradition with that of Salento in the preparation of desserts and typical Apulian dishes.
Not difficult recipes but simple and within everyone's reach, because we believe that true happiness lies in sharing these traditions with all of you, seeing “our” taralli around Italy and Europe but above all keeping the tradition of these alive. products.
